The items that are discontinued at Dollar General go to a penny on Tuesday’. Before Tuesday’s the store manager is suppose to remove the items from the sales floor. For whatever reason these items remain on the shelf and we as customers can purchase them for a penny.
Do not ask DG employees for penny items, just go in and look for them.
Keep in mind these items might be hard to find.
We also get new clearance items on Tuesday.
